MEZZANINE FLOOR

Bedroom Amethyst which can be configured with Queen sized bed and/or double bunk with King Single and single mattresses

Superb timber gallery with views across the pool and coconut palms to the ocean.

TOP FLOOR

Bedrooms Ruby and Emerald with large ensuites with baths and private balconies with views across the pool to the ocean
Verandah, bar and sitting area
All bedrooms have Air Conditioning and living rooms have ceiling fans and café style teak louvre doors and windows that open up to capture the sea breeze.

OUTSIDE (BEACH-SIDE)

Large fully tiled infinity pool with starlit floor lighting at night. The pool is feed with salt water after filtration
Pool Pavilion with day bed and fan, and built-in Weber BBQ at the rear.
A short walk leads to steps down onto the golden sands of Thalpe Beach with a shaded section directly outside our cinnamon stick fence.
A beach shower and foot wash sit at the beach boundary underneath a 70-year-old swaying coconut palm.

ROOMS

Sapphire

A perfect name for a luxury experience second to none. Situated on the ground floor opening on to a private verandah next to the seawater pool complete with ancient ebony and rattan chairs, this bedroom contains a four-poster hand-carved king bed with centuries-old window feature bedhead, walk-in dressing room, safe from the 19th century, indoor-outdoor ensuite, with hand, rainwater and outdoor flood showers, toilet and stunning plunge pool set in a private courtyard surrounded by a 3 metre dry rubble wall that is a masterpiece in itself. One guest described this ensuite as sheer”showbiz”. Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, twin vanities and triple robe round out this amazing palatial bed suite.

Emerald & Ruby

These rooms are almost carbon copies of each other, with both situated on the top floor separated by an airy bar room and verandah looking out over the Indian Ocean. The rooms themselves are very generous in size and contain a four-poster, netted, hand-carved king bed with 18th century windows behind the bed heads which open into a huge modern bathroom with separate bath, hand and rain showers with floors and walls done in the traditional polished concrete which is both aesthetically pleasing and cooling.

Theses rooms are fringed on the ocean side with floor to ceiling solid teak cafe style louver doors that open onto a large private verandah overlooking the ocean and tropical garden with swaying palms. These rooms are large enough to accommodate a roll-away bed as well and rooms can get slightly better views of sunsets.

Amethyst

Set on the Mezzanine floor complete with TV room retreat, luxury bathroom and balcony this room is at the rear of the building and is our “flexible” room with a Queen bed with netting and two generous sized bunk beds.
