The property is a modern take on traditional Sri Lankan colonial architecture designed by up and coming local Architect Nuwan Gayanath, who in turn was inspired by the iconic Mr Geoffrey Bawa. The extensive use of recycled local timbers, antique doors and windows and a combination of antique and modern furniture complete with soaring Dutch columns, natural paving , spacious and airy living rooms, pools, gardens and verandas will set the scene for a relaxing holiday at a venue you won’t want to leave.

From the entrance on the ground floor you will open a stunning 200 year old Dutch Teak door to reveal a cavernous living room with polished concrete floors, opening up onto a huge infinity pool and pavilion all facing the ocean.

The Villa is let on a bed and breakfast basis included in the tariff or you can upgrade to a full Sri Lankan breakfast at a modest cost. Our in-house chef will happily prepare lunches and dinners with a day’s notice (refer the menu) and makes use of the abundant fresh seafood and local produce available daily. Snacks and drinks are available on demand at set prices.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned and ceiling fans abound on ceilings including the veranda. The cooling ocean breeze can be taken advantage of from all main rooms with full café style louvre opening doors and traditional sash windows.
